Position Overview
The Director of Sales is responsible for driving business growth, developing new markets, and strengthening existing client relationships. This leader will manage the sales team, oversee the client experience from inquiry through event execution, and ensure sales strategies align with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy

Develop and execute annual sales plans to meet revenue and profit goals.

Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across corporate, social, nonprofit, and special event markets.

Establish KPIs and track performance metrics for the sales team.
Client & Community Relationships

Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, venues, and community partners.

Represent the company at networking events, industry associations, and civic organizations in Colorado Springs.

Serve as an ambassador for the company’s values and brand.
Team Management & Development

Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team.

Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to foster professional growth.

Ensure seamless collaboration between sales, operations, and culinary teams.

Work with culinary and marketing teams to promote company products and services.

Educate the sales team on current menus and encourage new trends in the industry.
Operational & Financial Excellence

Oversee accurate forecasting, proposals, and contracts.

Collaborate with the operations team to ensure events are executed to client expectations and financial targets.

Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications

Proven track record in sales leadership, preferably in catering, hospitality, or events.

Strong connections or ability to network effectively within Colorado Springs and the surrounding markets.
